Okavango Delta – Botswana
Okavango
Horse Safaris, first started in 1986, is a highly professional operation
run by Barney and PJ Bestelink in the remote central region of the
Okavango Delta where they have lived and worked for over 20 years.
Either PJ or Barney or both guide all the rides personally.
On
horseback you can venture further into the delta and get closer
to the wildlife than you can on foot.
Cantering
alongside the elegant motion of a giraffe is an experience you will
never forget and the only sounds you will hear are the drumming
of hooves, the splash of a disappearing crocodile or the fisheagle’s
haunting cry.
This
is as close to nature as you will ever get.
