Jan was born
in Holland but has operated safaris in Nambia since 1968 and is
now a Namibian citizen. Jan ran Etosha Fly-In Safaris for 17 years
before selling it in 1991 and has since bought 3 farms on the Huab
River comprising 8000 hectares where he has established a game reserve
and built an exquisite lodge – Huab Lodge.
Only
by special request, will Jan lead private parties to a variety of
areas in this very scenic country. Few people have more experience
than Jan and no-one knows Etosha better than him. Of all the top
safari guides across Africa, Jan leads the field with his birdwatching
skills and knowledge. A safari led by Jan is a rare treat indeed.
Summary:
Minimum of 10 days on a tailor-made safari exclusive to a private
party led by Jan throughout, staying in a combination of camps &
lodges, driving & flying between astonishing wilderness areas,
ending with all the superlative gameviewing of Etosha National Park.
