Private Guide – Kenya
Kenyan born
Alex Hunter has been closely involved with Africa’s wildlife
and people for many years. Walking and exploring areas on foot has
always been Alex’s passion. Alex believes there is no better
way to connect with the real Africa.
Alex’s
most popular safari is his ‘Walk Across the Mara’ which
combines 3 days walking with your own mobile camp as you make steady
progress across the Loita Plains, to the east of the Masai Mara
Reserve, followed by 2 days of game drives in the main Reserve itself.
The combination of walking and driving gives guests the best of
both worlds for flora and fauna viewing which you might otherwise
miss by staying in a regular camp/lodge in the Mara.
New
for Alex –
Ol Pejeta Camp – Alex’s new bush camp in Laikipia –
a great base from which to walk and track with Alex.
