Rocktail Bay, Kwazulu Natal, South
Africa
Rocktail
Bay is situated in northern Natal, within a forest reserve &
adjoining a marine reserve. A stay here is a wonderful combination
of relaxing on the beach, swimming in the ocean as well as the nature/bush
experience.
Few
parts of the South African coastline are as unspoilt or secluded
as the area in the vicinity of Rocktail Bay, where there are about
30 kilometres of pristine and undeveloped coastline. This is not
‘Big Game’ country – although reedbuck, duiker,
turtles, hippos can all be seen, while whales and dophins swim offshore,
and the birdwatching is excellent with some rare coastal species.
This
is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy before or after a big game
safari. Easily accessible by scheduled and private charter from
Johannesburg airport.
