We have travelled all over Africa doing safaris and we thought we had seen everything there was to see until we saw gorillas in Uganda and everything else that this beautiful land has to offer.
Even the things like the clothing that villagers all over Uganda wear, they are so full of colour, then watching the gorillas as they lie underneath the canopies of the trees to avoid the midday heat.
We decided to add Uganda to our itinerary list after a journey we had through there a few years ago, we were able to take in sites such as the Murchison falls which are in the largest national park in the country, the next think we did was to follow the chimps that travel from the forest to another park named the Queen Elizabeth.
Following these primates through Uganda takes in some wonderful sites such as the gathering of the flamingos and buffalo, a strange combination we know, around one of the nine massive lakes, before entering the Bwindi Forest.
