Nyika Plateau – Malawi
Chelinda Lodge is situated in the centre of the
Nyika National Park in northern Malawi. The Nyika Plateau is unlike
anywhere else in Africa and is a great new safari experience. The
biodiversity of flora and fauna found in the Nyika is fascinating
and of great scientific importance. This vast, untouched, beautiful
wilderness supports huge herds of eland, the highest concentrations
of roan antelope in Africa, and many more game species including
leopard which are often seen during the day, due to the cool climate.
