Selous Reserve – Southern Tanzania
Amidst
the vast wildness of the Selous Reserve in southern Tanzania, the
fast flowing waters of the Rufiji River shelter countless hippo
and crocodiles and one very special safari lodge. Completed in 1984
by Richard Bonham, Sand Rivers Selous embraces its lovely river
setting with eight thatched cottages designed in an open expansive
style to take advantage of the wild setting and extensive views.
With noted service & excellent cuisine, Sand Rivers Selous is
a safari destination in itself.
Operated
out of Sand Rivers Selous is their 4 night walking safari led by
an experienced guide with an armed scout, staying in a fully serviced
mobile fly camp with camp staff & support crew. This comes highly
recommended – it is one of the great walking safaris of Africa.
