In 1990 we formed the Safari Guides Company – an elite club of the best private guides in Africa – we have enjoyed a long association with these professionals and many still take our guests on safari today. Our new members include the next generation of adventurers. This ultimate style of safari is led from beginning to end by your own private guide and is particularly suited to couples travelling together, families including large multi-generational family parties, or a group of friends.
Since 1984 we have been tailoring classic camp/lodge style safaris – this is often a cheaper alternative for a couple or singleton and popular with our honeymooners. We prefer small camps and lodges with expert resident guides.
Family Safaris need careful planning, we have taken our children on safari and are experts on the vital ingredients & the best tried, tested and safe destinations.
As a keen horsewoman, Riding Safaris are a favourite – I have a lifetime of experience around horses, riding out early mornings before the office day begins, understanding horses, riding country and level of experience required.
Our clients come to us from all over the world, with a high proportion from the US. In the late 1980s we operated a Catalina Flying Boat – the ‘Trans Africas’ trips evoked interest from the US and word of mouth spread from there.
Indeed 75% of our new clients come to us through personal recommendation and we also enjoy enviable repeat business (many guests returning year after year, some of their 13th/14th safaris with Bushbuck) – both are a testament to our level of service and client satisfaction.
It is the same price, and sometimes less, whether you book a safari through us or direct with an operator, and with us you have the benefit of our experience and unbiased recommendations. Your safari is genuinely tailored to your exacting requirements with your best interests at heart.
We invite you to look at our website. Contact us and your enquiry will be dealt with personally by myself until your departure.
