The best way to experience the Okavango Delta is undoubtedly by boat.
Jacques Conradie is the leading private guide for water-based safaris using motorised boats to explore the labyrinth of waterways, channels, lagoons and islands characteristic of the unique Okavango Delta.
Jacques knows the delta better than anyone, and in his company you are taking an adventurous journey across a watery wilderness in the spirit of safaris of old using a classic mobile camp which is set up on secluded and remote islands by his full team of camp staff. Here you really are in the wilds of Africa with gameviewing from the boats, excellent birdwatching, and game walks on the islands.
Jacques has a fleet of aluminium boats custom designed to operate in the delta with an excellent team of guides, camp assistants and chefs who will look after your every need on safari. The boats are fitted with environmentally friendly and quiet running four stroke motors and are ideally suited for luxury boat safaris in the delta. Each boat carries 6 guests in great comfort with plenty of legroom and space to move around freely.
In addition to the guest boats, the freight boats carry all the creature comforts required for the mobile camp, set up by the team of professional staff prior to your arrival on one of the many islands of the Okavango Delta.
The safari is usually 4-6 nights duration, for private parties of between 2 and up to 12 guests. Throughout the May to October season for his safaris, Jacques also operates 4 night scheduled trips which are ideal for single travellers or couples to book into.
